National Hispanic Heritage Month is upon us, from September 15 to October 15! In the words of the Library of Congress:

“National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries.”

So, in celebration, I wanted to share some of my favorite tracks by awesome latinx-driven bands that I’ve played on my radio show, the Pet Door Show. As with all artists I showcase on the Pet Door Show, these are independent bands that you may not have heard of yet - innovative, talented, and goddamn catchy hidden gems who have yet to develop massive followings.

If you enjoy these tracks, you can follow the Spotify playlist here, and follow the Pet Door Show on instagram! Tune in to the Pet Door Show on Shady Pines Radio (on ShadyPinesRadio.com or on the Shady Pines Radio app) every Thursday 2–4pm PDT!
